Rebecca Woitkowski, Director of Child and Family Policy at New Futures, was honored to join Governor Chris Sununu, Senator Denise Ricciardi for NH Senate 9, and Legislative Aide Max Taylor for the signing of the proclamation recognizing today, October 10, as Children’s Environmental Health Day in New Hampshire!

Children Environmental Health Day takes place nationwide on the second Thursday of October each year. It’s based on the idea that, together, we can create a healthier, safer, more equitable world for all children – where fewer children suffer from preventable health issues.

The Children’s Environmental Health Network focuses on cleaner air, cleaner water, safer food, climate change mitigation and adaptation, healthy places, climate justice and healthy equity, access to nature, and creating a toxic-free economy.
